Should i be concerned?

CelluloidRacer2
Go to solution Solved by Jacktastic-Mofo,

OK  :)  i was looking at a CM hyper 212 evo, is that any good?

That's a great cooler as well, however if you're trying to save money the T2 will be far more than enough.

I got this running on one fan, aside from the PSU fan; should i be concerned?

--------------------------------

CPU: Pentium G3258 (running stock cooler)

MoBo: Asus Z97-E

HDD: Generic 4 year old 500Gb HDD from my old laptop (soon too be replaced)

RAM: Kingston 1x8 Gbs HyperX fury ram 1600mhz

Case: CM elite 335u case

--------------------------------

It idles anywhere between 32-40 Celsius

Under load, the highest I've seen was ~66 degrees Celsius

**THIS BUILD IS INCOMPLETE, I ONLY WANTED TO ASK IF I SHOULD BE CONCERNED**

Spoiler

Intel G3258 (Corsair H60, OC'd to 4.5 GHz) | Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB (1x8) | Gtx 750Ti | Corsair CX500M | WD Black 750 GB 7200 RPM HDD | Cooler Master Elite 335U (donated by friend)

Nope, that's good :)

If you're looking for a good CPU cooler for cheap the Cooler Master Hyper T2 is only $12.

In the words of Bob Marley "dont worry, be happy." Your temps are fine, and I've ran a much hotter setup on one fan before upgrading.

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

no these temps are good, if you want to overclock the cpu maybe get the Hyper 212 Evo, or get the Hyper T2 if you just want the cpu to run cool.

The stock cooler is already plenty to keep it cool or allow for oc'ing.

My only issue, is running with the PSU fan, and a *SINGLE* case fan at the back

You shouldn't worry as long as your temps are fine.
