Gift Ideas

Hey guys so my brother is turning 18 and he is really into computers and tech and stuff and I can't really think of anything to get him. He already has built a top of the line computer with like a 980 in it and stuff. He has a keyboard and all the peripherals he needs. He has nice speakers, a phone. I can't think of anything to get him. Could I have some ideas that are like around $300 or less? Thanks!

Can you tell us the specs of the machine? Even if we can't find anything obvious that needs to be upgraded it will give us some insight into what he likes/values/prioritizes as far as technology goes. For example if he has just a 500gb HDD and he's never complained/talked about getting more or an SSD we can conclude that he doesn't care much about storage. However if he has an m.2, an SSD boot drive, a raid card, and several TB of HDD data, then we can conclude that maybe hes into storage. If, like me, he IS into storage this is what I'd do. Spend the entire 300 on a bunch of SSDs and write a card with "one word... RAID" If instead he has hundreds of dollars of water cooling equipment in his pc, then it might tell us he's into watercooling and would appreciate something to add to his loop. Something like a kill coil, some colorant if his loop is clear distilled water. A flashy new resevoir maybe? Right now we know nothing about your brothers interests as "tech" is a very large category that encompasses a lot of different things. Saying hes into tech is kinda like saying "yea, hes into music, what song should I buy him?" with no further details on preferred genre or anything. So it's kinda hard to suggest something for him.

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!
