Laptopy Keyboard For Desktop

I need a keyboard to replace the crappy one that Ive been using with the new PC I built. Does anyone know of a decent, reasonablly priced board, with keys similar to ones usually found on laptops? I really dislike the long keypresses and feel of most boards, and I dont have the money to spend on a really nice mechanical piece with Cherry MX Browns etc etc. Any help is appreciated!

Do you want a chiclet keyboard? If so something by apple is probably fine, don't really know much when it comes to chiclet keyboards.

yea the newest generation of cheap dell keyboards feel exactly like the keyboard of a dell laptop, but a little cheaper plastic and light construction.

Get one of Razer's Deathstalker series. They've got chicklet style keys, with fairly good resistance on them, and a whole line of keyboards depending on what you'd need in terms of backlighting, if any is necessary at all.

Ive only heard of chiclet keys in passing and never knew what they were. But if thats what Apple keyboards are, then I know I like them.

And that Razer is freaking awesome!
