why such small fans

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

90 is larger, and therefore means better cooling (usually, but in your case (pun, lol) yes). If you want ghetto fan mounting, @iamdarkyoshi

EDIT- Just noticed you already have a 90mm fan mounted, but another 80mm could help by a possible tiny amount. Plus noise.

You can always ghetto mount fans and even hard drives and SSDs. I have multiple fans ghetto mounted on my years old HP OEM case on the air vents. The case originally supports only 1 80 mm fan but I managed to install 4 of them along with some cheap foam like material as dust filter.

My GPU is a GeForce 210 with just heatsink and no fan. I removed the PCI IO slot covers and taped a 80 mm fan over the heat sink now my GPU is significantly Cooler. I have also Ghetto mounted a Hard Drive as my case supported only one HDD.
