Looking for a cooler, technically two, for a dual X5460 setup.

Lower price us better.

No thermal throttling.

Silent is good, but not required.

Cooler Master Hyper T2, cools well, is cheap, and looks good.

Probably not, as OP is probably using a dual socket lga 771 board it wont work because Lga 771 and 775 use different mounting holes.

You could probably fit that or anything else using zip ties tho ;)

If you want to go the easy route, get a server cooler like this:

I don't think the hyper T2 works with LGA 771. LGA 771 is a weird socket that makes it very hard to find 3rd party coolers.

Yeah, zip ties will do. I once lost mounting plate for an AM3 motherboard and had to zip tie on the cooler.

Zip ties are your friends when mounting coolers to stuff their not ment to go on :)

I once had to use a rubber-band to mount a pga 478 cooler because i lost one of the mounting brackets.
