Windows and factory defaults

Yo, so i work for a company that deals with second hand laptops/PC's and for obvious reasons these need to be clean before being resold. So i have now run into the unfortunate issue that some of the laptops that remain have no recovery partition and what appears to be no way for me to factory reset them and i need help on what i can do here? I was thinking i could use an external HDD to house vanilla windows 7/8/10 but im pretty sure its one serial key per PC kind of deal and obviously i dont want to be spending my own wages on a copy of each so is there no like standardised thing for me to just whack on my external HDD boot from and it re-install the existing windows but without anything other than primary drivers and programs?

Win10 media creation tooled USB stick to upgrade them and then clean install?

I'm not allowed to put win 10 on everything, it has to stay with whatever came with the laptop (Due to the serials and whatever else)

so are you just looking for a way to get the serial codes off the pc's? so you can reuse it for the reinstall?

So how would i go about getting Win 7/8/8.1/10 on my external for installation to these?

The problem is that he can't do a clean install of normal windows version.. These keys simply won't work. But you can always check them in a windows recovery webpage.
