Can I add a Logitech 2.1 system to an existing Logitech 5.1?

I've currently got a Logitech x530 hooked up to my PC,

and a Logitech x240 that is gathering dust.

I was wondering if there's anyway possible for me to merge them creating a 7.1 system? (I would say 7.2 but I don't think my onboard sound on my z77a-g45 supports it...) Anybody else attempted this sort of thing?

Attempted, but not a "7.1"

I used a 2.0 system and added another 2.0 system. I crossed the wires and its 4 speakers and 2 channels.

I also tried plugging it in so my motherboard detects 4.0 but it just doesn't work at all.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.
