In the picture it says that my Local Area Connection through Ethernet.

I even disable my Ethernet connection through the network settings and its still there.
I got and look at properties and nothing pops up.
Seems suspicious so any help if great.

cud b a virtul conexn

Yeah.

I'll translate this real quick.

Are you running VM's? Because those could be creating a virtual ethernet adapter.

Some other software also does this (logmeIn IIRC, and maybe teamviewer)

I used to have TeamViewer but have recently uninstalled it. (Some one said there was a vulnerability or something, hardly used it anyway).

The only other type of program that I can think of is Game Ranger but i dont know if it would do this.

Update:

Just uninstalled Game Ranger (hardly used) and still now change, and if helps here a pic of my network adapters:

Try running ipconfig /all in a CMD window, see if it's listed there. If it has "media disconnected" alongside it, I wouldn't worry about it.

Might be nothing though, I've a random network that's not connected as well, either another case of windows 10, or some driver.

This is what came up aswell as two tunnel bear things (I looked them up all good).

I just blanked out stuff that I thought could be harmful in other people hands.

There any way to get rid of it cause i know its small but it annoys me.

Again thanks for the help.

So, it´s the Microsoft Wi-Fi virtual adapter, used to directly connect devices for media streaming etc...

Here is a video explanation of what it does: https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/BUILD/BUILD2011/HW-329T

And it seems to show up as an ethernet connection, which is pretty confusing...

When i plug my USB-Wlan stick in, it shows up in ipconfig /all like it does in your picture, but it doesn´t show up in my connections tab.

Edit: Btw, it will show up in the device manager as well when you click "view" in the menu bar, and activate "show hidden devices"

1. run 'ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt' (makes a text document you can copy paste rather then a screenshoot with 80% of the text cut off.

2. Before you post if you do (it'd be rather stupid) have a public IP address listed in you ipconfig results, just replace the ip addresses with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.

3. ipconfig will not tell us your passwords, or really anything that could be 'harmful'.

4. any ip addresses starting with 127., 10., 192., 169.254., or 172., is a private ip address, I can't magically DOS yous system with it, you would have to tell me your public one.

5. Maybe MAC address, not really a big deal though, it is unlikely that a public website even looks at your mac address.

6. The only other thing you 'may' need to blank out would be the primary DNS Suffix, and DNS Suffix Search List (if you have one configured, most people don't for some reason).

I know it sounds sounds stupid could something pretend to be that so it gets stuff from my pc?

I dont know just seems weird.

And thankyou i did not know of the hidden devices.

Thanks for the tip.

As I said i didnt know what was harmful so I blanked most of it out, thankyou though.
