The HoF is second to non (well maybe second the the kingpin) but it would look so out of place in a red and black build tbh.

Only the HOF Ln2 is the one that competes with the really high end cards, and they're impossible to get a hold of now.

Get the classified it has Samsung VRAM, the HoF doesn't

The classified comes with Hynix, "apparently" new batches are surfacing with Samsung, but whether or not you get a new batch or not is a different story.

@Jamx1x check out the Matrix, it's only a bit more than the Classified, yet overclocks better, runs cooler & quieter as well.

I would recommend the EVGA Classified.

It's a great performing card, and backed by EVGA's great customer support.

Although, the HOF is actually one of the best performing cards available excluding the Zotac card.

really... Huh, guess I might as well just save for the KINGPIN edition then, or just go with the HoF...

Any idea why they switched?

Rumours are saying 3-4 months, and Nvidia will do the same shit they do everytime.

They will release lower end cards first that are barely any better than current gen stuff, wait a few months then release the big dog Titan card for $1k, then a 980 ti-like card for $650 a few months later.

id say its worth the wait vs going from a 970 to a 980ti.

a 980 TI is as fast as 2 970's with really good SLI scaling, it's a BIG upgrade lol
