Overclock X5650

Has anyone here overclocked the Intel Xeon X5650 or above. I just bought one and I am curious to see what kind of speed I am going to be able to get out of it. I am using the Asus P6T motherboard. Thank you for your help.

They're cold chips. A 4GHz OC is easily doable with a 240mm AiO.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W

That is what I have heard. I got a 360mm AiO to really crank it.

4.5GHz easy. I'd try for 4.6 or even 4.8 if your temps are good.

Let's just hope you were lucky with the silicone lottery.

Luckily I don't really need to OC my Xeon as it kicks arse at stock for pretty much everything.

You can check out my channel if you want for this. You could play with a diff combo though. Up to 215 BCLK work on a lot of those. Should point you in the right direction.

I recognize the name now from when you asked about the Intel MBs. If you can't figure out an OC get at me, I don't helping you get a half decent one worked out. GL
