Even with a second GPU its an overkill, maybe 750w?

 

For AMD and Crossfire the recommended is 800w+, the TPD is 125w.

wait for 9XXX series :D

That gpu is pretty damn cheap and Im building this for a friend before I leave for college in a couple weeks. Since hes on a "gaming" laptop now its going to be more than enough and he can always pony up in the future for a better or another card.

When I factor in shipping it comes out to alot more since I live in hawaii

No because newggg shipping is more expensive with the monitor and the ncix shipping is 40-50 dollars.

+after rebates and such Im getting the gold version of that powersuppy for about the same price

but I did take your suggestion on ram
