Windows 10 High cpu usage

bxoulidis
Go to solution Solved by bxoulidis,

nevermind, that problem was caused by the latest nvidia vr support driver.i rolled the driver back and the problem was resolved

I have done a clean install of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and after my computer is on for about an hour or so a process in the task manager called "system and compressed memory" takes about 25-30% of my cpu cycles for no reason. It doesn't use much ram at all.Just cpu cycles.That happens only if i have a program or two running.I have noticed that it happens particularly often when chrome is open. When i close Chrome the cpu usage goes down.I downloaded process explorer and i found the file that is causing the high cpu usage.it's called dxgmms2.sys but i don't know what to do to stop it.Things i have tried to do.Disabling superfetch, reinstalling nvidia drivers(clean)reinstalling chrome, scanning with malwarebytes(nothing found)scanning withadwcleaner. My cpu is an amd fx 4350 4.2 ghz stock,my gpu is a gt 630 and i have 8 gigs of ram. Here are some screenshots:http://postimg.org/image/psg6kjk07/ Process explorer:http://postimg.org/image/bhzd4kym5/

Firstly, welcome to the forums, and secondly, after a quick google search it seems that this file has some issue with your memory. Try testing your memory with memtest to make sure there are no issues.
