Garage/gate remote?

I hope that here is someone that knows this stuff...My dad just lost his remote (Life Fido 2) and I kinda don't want to pay 40e for some stupid remote if I can like cheaper chinese one that will work. The receiver is aswell from Life so my question is wether any remote with rolling code will work with the receiver or I have to buy exatcly Life remotes?
