Does anyone know how to take a selection of songs from 1 itunes account and move it to another account, basically separating an itunes account into 2.

A USB flash drive

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Not sure if you can transfer ones you purchased on iTunes, but the ones that you didn't purchase it is just a matter of moving the files.

all the songs were purchased on itunes, is there a way to get a copy of those songs on my computer and move it to an external device?

Yep, that'll work. iTunes stores your music in your music folder under iTunes Media, unless you told it to store it somewhere else

Yeah, just copy the folder from your hard drive to the flash drive. Should be in your music library in the file explorer.
