I just ordered a Razer Seiren Elite Pro, I'm looking for a some good surround sound headphones or even a headset with a decent microphone. I would only use it for recording/streaming, playing CSGO also listening to to people say "I f*ck your mom last night" in HD Quality.

Edit: And Also Comfy

Budget: $100 or $150 USD

If you have a desk mic why do you need a microphone?

Anyways, for that I'd recommend HyperX Clouds but if you don't need a mic because you have the Seiren then get some HD 518s.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

To answer your question, when I'm playing CSGO(not recording/streaming) I preferably don't need a desk mic infront of my face

I have the Razer Kraken 7.1's....

The only thing that really bothers me about them is that the braded cord actually ties itself up and becomes a pull on your headset..   You can easily damage it that way and I'm not impressed with Razer's design with it.

If you want to stick with Razer, you could go with the Razer Kraken Pro's.  They're slightly bulky but pretty good in my opinion.  Good quality sound without a shitty braded cord.  :)

Krakens are just not good for sound quality.... sorry...

I mean, you could always strap a Modmic or V-moda boom mic to most headphones.  Superlux HD668Bs with a Modmic would be good.

They're $70 though... you can get much, much better headphones for 70 dollars.

I'd go with the Shure SRH440 because of the awesome sound quality. The actual comfort is decent, but it lacks a little on the durability side so if you're okay using a hard-shell case when you travel and be pretty gentle with these they should be your best option. Also there is no markup on these, and they don't jack up the price because it is " gaming " like Razar and other companies do.

You may have to look on ebay or something for a deal on it, but shoot for a Sennheiser HD 500 series headphones or the Game series headsets.
