my preview video is so blurry. and hard to edit

“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

Its having a bitch with your (source) input video codec, try a different source format and see if it works then.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Can you put a screenshot here?

If you render the video out, is it still pixelated?

not pixelated if i set a 20k bitrate, but it definitely isnt 20k bitrate, more like 4000..

Ive had pixelation in the preview with certain formats whereas some other formats were perfect.

ie: Importing certain types of mp4 and wmv would cause it, but other mp4 setups (different encoded settings) and other formats were good.

When exporting as MP4, it never STICKS to the datarate that you chose,..., it uses variable datarate encoding.

Exporting as WMV does not have this issue.
