680 green mod!

Hey guys!

 
I finally joined the green mod club over the holiday season.
 
I added 2 x Arctic coolers to my 2 x 680 Inno 3D cards.
 
Load temps went down from 80 degrees to a mind blowing 44!
 
I had to add 3mm shims in order to keep the stock heat syncs on the vrams and mosfets.

Threw some of those on my cards, quite a difference even with stock bios. Blower fans drew quite a bit of power in my case, thus hurting the boost. Didn't push my cards too hard though.

Nice job! Always good to see people mod their hardware; it seems too many people are afraid they'll break things if they try anything like this, or indeed anything at all...
