new ssd keeps freezing computer

So I just bought a new ssd for my pc (500 gb Crucial MX200). I cloned the hard drive and it boots up fine but after about 5 minuets task manger will say that 100% of the disk is being used but nothing is reading or writing to it and the all of my programs become unresponsive and my pc will freeze. I have to shut my computer down and restart only for it to happen again. My PC is now basically unusable and it wont boot back to my old hard drive that I cloned the ssd from. Can anybody help?

Try a fresh Windows install on the SSD?

yeah thats true.

i fixed it. I cloned the drive a second time using different cloning software.
