So I am troubleshooting this motherboard. It is an asus p8h61-m and I have been battling it to get it to post. I am now getting a post, but after hitting delete to go into the bios, I have a single white underscore on screen and thats it. The reset button on the machine does in fact reset, and I can get to the splash screen again, but then it just hangs on the white underscore again. I have reset bios by removing the battery many times, reseated RAM many times, reseated CPU, and unplugged all sata devices as the HDD is bad and used to cause the system to be an unresponsive mess in the bios. Now I cannot even get to the bios. Time to flash the bios? If do, how do I do this?
