possible EVGA RMA?

so i just got a good clean looking EVGA 9800 GX2 from a garage sale for 10$. the guy who i bought it from says the last time he used it, it worked. on the off chance that it doesn't work, do ya'll think EVGA would accept it for an RMA?

I've heard that they have a life time warranty and have seen people send back things like a 8800 gt and get a gtx 660ti in return. and yes it still has all the lables and tags on it, and according to those, as long as they're still on it's still under warranty.
