I heard about some 980 ti strix edition problems. Is it still true?

Thanks

It seems like Asus fixed the heatpipe problem but I really don't like buying Asus cards.  Zotac Amp! Extreme is REALLY good as are the Gigabyte G1 and MSI cards.  Evga is also a very safe place to be for Nvidia cards.

I´d have a look into EVGA. They are nVidia´s best board partner and they´ve got a good selection of GPUs from gamer to super enthusiast grade. Customer service is best in business for nVidia cards.

"XYZ" is crap and EVGA has the "best" Support. Thank you Guys for your professional Statements. Im sure it helps alot.

@smolkomartin1 Asus is like many other Brands, you could be lucky or you dont. The Strix reach decent Scores and overall Stats in Benchmarks. If you like the Style, you can go for it or you buy the Asus Matrix.

I would recomment the Zotac amp!extreme, simply because i own one and know what a beast it is. Either way, every custom 980Ti will give you nice Performance.
