So you didn't enable RAID mode in the UEFI? If not why?

You can check to see if its working by using these commands.

Using software raid you do not need to enable it within bios for software raid mate hence my thread here asking if trim is enabled within software raid I know it is with hardware raid

What not used the built in intel raid though?

With software raid it just shows up as a regular drive so there should be no issue.
