There's a bios update for my motherboard on windows 7 but i recently updated to windows 10.  Is it safe to use that bios update on my windows 10?

Reason for updating bios: Graphics card freezes on boot and a notice mentioned that i might need to update bios for best compatibility.

Bios is outside of windows and all that. Can you tell me your os and if it's 32bit or 64?

BIOS can be flashed (udate) regardless of OS. You should do it from BIOS itself using USB drive. If any reason thats not possible, try with windows utility. But I recommend using BIOS itself for update.
