HDMI Problems

I can't seem to fit a HDMI cable into the top port on my mother board. It has two and the bottom HDMI port fits just fine. Can anyone help? Did I put the mobo in wrong or did I bend it? I attached a photo. It seems to me that the designs on both are different? Thanks for any help.

It looks like you will need to remount the motherboard, the tab on the IO plate seems to have slipped down into the connector when during install.

You mean the HDMI port on the right?

 

Unless the tab on the left port can be gently pushed out of the connector will require the board to be remounted.

and a iti s not as bad as me i build the hole pc the went to plug my stuff in and the plat was not on and  then had to rebuild the hole thing

It might be a pass through HDMI port, on some boards the have an HDMI in and out for consoles or to give another input for your monitor without switching.
