Here is my review of the Ducky Shine 3. Unfortunately I don't have access to nice camera and lighting equipment so it may seem a little dark sometimes.

Nice review I just got my quickfire tk too. And what kind of a layout was that, I have never seen that before

It is the ISO layout. It is more commonly known as the standard UK layout I think, although some other countries do use the ISO layout as well.

Yep, was watching the vid and saw the ISO layout, first thing I checked out was the space bar. Anyway, nice vid of unboxing and review/impression. I really should do this sort of thing given the variety and number of KB's I have, but I'm stuck in the midst of a lazy rut....

Ok, thanks for the answer. When I watched the video I thought it was the Nordic layout (the one I use).

I know what you mean, it is quite fun once you get going, unless you start to make errors like me and have to do many, many retakes...

Great review! Good overview, but a bit too long for most people to watch. You could streamline the review it would be better. Only people who want to buy it would really watch it.

I will definitely be working on making my reviews shorter, I'm not too good at commentating yet so I tend to pause and think about what I am going to say.

Oh yeah, did you update the firmware? It fixes some compatibility issues, and adds a new lighting effect....Aurora.

All in all a nice review! One of not many reviews about the Ducky Shine III that are around the web so thank you for this one :) Hopefully I will be getting my ducky soon as well. Just a quick question, which site did you order your Ducky from?

I did, I showed the aurora effect in the video. I didn't seem to have any problems before I updated it, but I wanted to keep the keyboard up to date.

That is a good point. I agree, they look really bad with red backlighting. I prefer the black ones because it makes the keyboard look uniform.

Glad I could help! I'm sure you'll love it. I found myself doing lots of random typing just because it's my first mechanical keyboard. The backlight is stunning too, I have spent quite a while finding nice space bar colours as well :P
