ram detection error

Go to solution Solved by Monkeyfightah,

I just realised it would be easiest if you do:

Put both sticks in the other color slots and if you don' need more than those you're fine to go even if they are broken.

if that doesn't help

Use one stick at a time and try every ram port and so you will find which is broken ;)

first of all make sure you put them in same color coded ram ports - red red or grey grey or whatever

anyway just try out different ram ports with them sticks

you will be able to find out if one of the ram sticks is fucked or if it is one of your mobo ram ports

maybe but improbable is that both are fucked :D

hope I could help :)

Shit happens right... That's why Linus always says try everything out before putting it in the case so it becomes easier to dissassembly..
