Avast performance tweaks

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to make Avast be less intensive on system resources such as the HDD? I'm pretty impressed with how little it's affecting my regular usage (unlike Norton and other paid antiviruses), but I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to make it even less resource intensive. I currently have all the shields enabled (file system, web, mail etc.). Are all these necessary? What else can I do to reduce Avast's hard disk usage?

Nope I just want my antivirus to get as close to 0% performance hit as possible
