Hey Guys,

I want to start recording my CS:GO gameplay for my friend and I am wandering if I can use my 290x as my main card and a HD 7770 as a recording only card, and if that is possible how can I do it, Thanks

just use the 290X? I mean, you CANNOT max a 290X via CS:GO since the CPU will be a bottleneck. Using the 290X will make no difference than having a separate card for it

What do you mean with recording? Using a recording software like fraps or recording with hardware cards?

I need at least 300fps, it sounds stupid but even 1000 fps is better than 700 in cs, a little, but still makes a difference

No it does NOT. You can't see more than 60 FPS if your monitor is 60Hz.

Have fun with those frames rates with your cpu.

My 860M gets 200fps. A 290X should be getting around 500 easily

RESEARCH IT DAMNIT

and its 144hz, follow the topic

144Hz, same thing, it does not change if you have more FPS than  your monitor can display FFS.
