Oh dang, I forgot to mention that my intentions are to record gaming videos.

Doesn't most YouTube partnership programs offer forums like that? 

I am partnered with Union for Gamers (Curse) and you'd think since it's a big industry there would be a lot people on the forum but nope, it's empty so that is why that's not an option for me. :(

Well, then I'm not really able to offer much help. I have never (and probably never will) record a YouTube video for public consumption.

 

I know a friend of mine does YouTube videos, and he just asks people for collabs directly through YouTube's PM system. 

He just finds someone that he finds intersting and asks them if they want to make a video. Usually, the people he asks has about the same subscriber count as he has.

Good idea but that's the thing - it is pretty hard to find non-popular youtubers like myself. :D
