I am into gaming, not a *hardcore* gamer but a casual neither.. (I'm a tweener)

You should probably upgrade your graphics card as your current one can't really take advantage of your CPU. A good rule of thumb is spend more on your graphics card then your processor.

I agree.  That is what I was thinking myself. But to which card?  is it worth spending $350 for a 970?

I'd go for an R9 390 or 390x
