Hello, im currently looking for a change in PC i wish to know if the build i am doing is good for mainly gaming and streaming/recording as i wish to do this in the future.

CPU cooler: Corsair H100i ---------------------------------------------106 Euros

HHD: WD cavar black 1T 64mb cache -------------------------------79.96 Euros

Optical drive: Samsung DVD burner (not relevant)------------------20.60 Euros

the total price for this computer at the moment on amazon.de is currently at 1605.07 Euros

now im willing to change some of the parts that are unnecessary or where i could get a better part for less money or something of the sort.

my budget is up to 1700 euros, as i will be selling my current gaming pc aswell as other items to get this upgrade.

any constructive criticism is welcome

Thanks

I would get a different brand for the gpu, asus screwed me over multiple times for the RMA system(a customers gt640 came two days ago and guess what i sent it to rma in MAY). As that system is on the expensive side I would prefer some comfort and MSI seem to make great coolers. In the end the difference between the very high tier gpus are close together.

cpu: intel i5 4670k @ 4.5ghz Ram: G skill ares 2x4gb 2166mhz cl10 Gpu: GTX 680 liquid cooled cpu cooler: Raijintek ereboss Mobo: gigabyte z87x ud5h psu: cm gx650 bronze Case: Zalman Z9 plus

Listen if you care.

Cpu: intel i7 4770k @ 4.2ghz Ram: G skill  ripjaws 2x4gb Gpu: nvidia gtx 970 cpu cooler: akasa venom voodoo Mobo: G1.Sniper Z6 Psu: XFX proseries 650w Case: Zalman H1

vengeance pro ram is quite expensive but has some overclocking headroom so if your not overclocking ram i recommend you to check the qvl list on the asus support site to get 100% guaranteed compatibility

ps: overclocking ram wont benefit gaming but would be beneficial if you are running virtual machines

So you just took his build suggestion, changed almost every part for a cheaper/weaker (except maybe the gpu) and call it a better choice because it is cheaper?

i will be using the 4way customization from the motherboard to overclock, and later on maybe overclock it by hand

im not a great fan of AMD at all so even though what you say is valid, i would not really consider that since AMD is my kryptonite

If you are just gamin my build would be better if you mustn't have AMD then get a 4670K and a 7970 because it performs the same or better than a 770

usually i use amazon, the french or german one, or i use LDLC.be/.fr/.ch  thats what i use

Not sure which pcpartpicker to use--france or germany.

Anyway, this is what I came up with: http://fr.pcpartpicker.com/p/1y6Do

Doesn't get much better than the Tempest for airflow.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
