new build cpu+mobo

Go to solution Solved by Josephdalepi,

Oh, you already have the RAM? What is it then, DDR2 or 3?

Not every LGA 775 mobo supports quad core CPUs. Also, you can find other quad cores for LGA 775 with more performance and OCing headroom, while still being cheaper (as they aren't named "Q6600".

ram doesnt matter, was just trying to get some cpu/mobo recomendations

we figured out an amd a4 apu is the best hes gonna get

my friend lives in columbia wants a new computer

im having troubles finding last gen parts and such, as well as trouble finding the price of components

he doesnt have a budget, but im hoping that you guys can help me figure out a cheap build
