Can't stream while gaming

As the title says I'm trying to stream movies from my pc to various devices around my house, but nobody can connect to my pc through the network while I'm gaming whether online or not. Anybody know how to fix this? I should also note I'm running windows 10 pro in case that's just a bug atm.

well hows your Internet Connection ?

is your CPU capable enough? Is your internet capable?

Works while I'm not gaming yes. Nobody can open my shared drives on the network while I'm gaming whether it's the drive the game is running from or not aswell. Also I'm running a 3570k with a gtx970 and am wired to an rt-n53 router so I know it's not an old hardware issue. The devices trying to connect wireless aren't more than a few years old either.
