my monitor is a 1080p monitor will i benefit from overclocking it i was playing skyrim and it worked perfectly with all settings max at 1080p i do not know about other games so ya

No way. Maxing out 1440p in like 90%+ of games, and then high if you want a locked 60fps if 45 fps isn't good enough.

Not medium, and only high for a tiny percentage of games.
