PC won't post

Hi guys, hoping someone can help me. Just finished putting together my new rig and it won't post, I've tested it in different scenarios and still nothing.

Observations I have made:

No beeps etc from motherboard

All components reseated to no avail

error message on monitor changes from "Check Signal Cable" To "No Signal" when I turn on my pc

Fans spin and mobo LEDs light up for between 5 and 30 seconds before shutting down again

I/O will power my mouse but not my keyboard. Tried changing the USB to different places but still nothing. Keyboard is not dead, tested with other computer

different display cables tried.

No beeps... installed the speaker?

My (unprofessional) opinion otherwise: You might have bricked your board somehow.

 

Or just not the correct cables connected.

The speaker which would make the error beeps is integrated into the motherboard. Yes I'm worried I might have a dead mobo

Are you ENTIRELY sure you have an integrated speaker? My Asus Z170 board does not.

the speaker on your motherboard is only for error beeps, not for anything else..
