Possible Power Problem

After installing a new GPU and PSU my PC has been randomly turning itself off. At first I thought it was an overheating problem, moving the PC had fixed this issue for a while. Yet, while I was playing games I was only reaching 78C on my GPU and hardly anything on my PSU. So now I'm left to believe it's a power problem. I've switched plug sockets now hoping this would fix the issue. If this isn't the case, what else could it be? Or if the problem persists, what else can I check or try? 

 

The PC switched off randomly while watching YouTube, I instantly felt the power supply and GPU and both were very cool, hardly any heat! I can instantly turn the PC back on and it'll run fine for a certain duration of time.

What wattage is your PSU rated at? Also how many watts are being pulled?

The PSU has a wattage of 650W, it's more than enough for the components inside the PC. As for the second question, how would I check this?

Actually, I can't turn the PC back on straight away. None of my components are hot and it lasts random durations each time. I can play games for hours sometimes, and at other times only minutes. Could it be the overclock?

Yeah, dial back your oc. Is your PSU branded or is it a dodgey one?

The PSU is an EVGA one. About the overclock, I uhh...have no clue how to do so, any ideas, or tutorials/guides that may help?

Gah fuck. Um reset your bios? I don't overclock I wouldn't know. Youtube on how to dial back an oc

Right, I changed the power limit on the GPU, hopefully this will fix the crashing somewhat. I'm running through heaven benchmark now, it seems to be quite stable and GPU temps aren't going higher than 78C.

You might've had an unstable OC.
