is this a bottleneck?

Hey, so my pc is really bad, but I want to know if my processor is a bottleneck right now

My Specs:

Asus GTX 650 Ti Direct CU II OC (which I overclocked even more, it's running at 1100mhz core clock and 5500 memory clock)

8gb HyperX Fury DDR3 (Dual Channel)

Pentium G3220 @ 3.0 Ghz

I'm really low on money and I want to know if i'll get any noticeable framerate boosts from upgrading my processor.

I was thinking on maybe getting a G3460, is it worth it? or should I just get a new GPU? Thanks in advance

It's not worth it. You won't notice a difference simply because games don't run well on Dual Cores anymore.

Maybe it depends on the games you play.

For example WoW runs like utter dog shit on amd cpu's

 

but you will most likely see better over all performance gain going from dual to a quad core cpu.

Well I play CS:GO which runs perfect, Wow runs at almost max, I have the distance set to medium, but watchdogs and fallout 4 for example even at 800x600 get insane stuttering and low fps, GTA V runs fine though at normal-very high

Get a fx6300 or fx4300 if like a lot cheaper or upgrade to i5 if u want way better performance and long run

Wrong. G3258 has 1fps as minimums since it's a Dual core CPU. Those are dead.

no it can still run just fine and besides that if you combine it with a graphics card not that powerfull as OP wants it is still good

dual cores aren't dead, I've been gaming on an E8600 for the past five years and the only game it struggles in is beamng.drive.... the rest 60 fps high settings 1080p on an R9 270

I play metal gear soild v on my pc. and i record with obs assetto corsa and farming simulator 15 as well! it just proves that you dont have to spend tons of money to game
