Also, are you running the other ram in the system with the new kit?

my mobo Supports DDR3 2400+(OC)/1866/1600/1333/1066/800 non-ECC, un-buffered memory

 

And when i run the complete chip set of 4, 4gb ram the pc doesnot start up correctly
