GPU Usage with R9 290 never 100% while in games.

Hi,

So my R9 290 has been giving me really crappy performance and not really having 100% GPU usage and being anywhere from 3% to 30% , to 40% etc, never 100%. It sometimes gets to 100% but doesn't stay there for too long. The temperature on the GPU gets to around 50C-60C while gaming and thats with a reference cooler. The power it was drawing was anywhere from 30w to 100w.

What is your CPU? is it bottlenecking your GPU?

So, are their fps issues? Just because its not at 100% usage doesn't mean something is wrong. I don't think those temps are high enough to thermal throttle but I don't know what those temps should be but they do seem pretty high at the same time.

The FPS is like only a little bit higher than it was with my GTX 760.

what is your full specs and what games are you playing to cause the issue?
