600W is more than enough for 390x.

Depending on the specific PSU you´ve got. A single 12V rail with good rating is enough, a multi rail isn´t.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

so dont buy it or go threw?

Don't buy it if it is a NEX, G1, V1, B1, W1.

Buy only if it is GS/G2/GQ or anything from Seasonic. or XFX TS.

just out of curiosity would the

EVGA SuperNOVA 750  work or no

EVGA SuperNOVA has many sub branding like EVGA SuperNOVA B1, EVGA SuperNOVA G1, EVGA SuperNOVA W1, EVGA SuperNOVA NEX.

                                                                                ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Those are not good.

Only EVGA SuperNOVA G2, EVGA SuperNOVA GS, EVGA SuperNOVA GQ are good.

It's a crappy PSU.

Technically 750W is overkill for that card.

But don't buy that PSU for your own good.
