Looking for earbuds under 50$

So I got a 50$ visa prepaid gift card for xmas from my dad's girlfriend which was nice and I decided I wanted to buy something to replace my craptastic Apple EarPods because they are so harsh I can't stand listening to them. I'm basically looking for something to use with my phone and maybe when I'm at my desktop. I was just looking at these and they seem pretty good but I wanna know if theres better. I'm not looking for audiophile quality or anything I just want something that will sound pretty decent and sound good with my phone. i'm not big into earbuds so I really don't know where to start so if you guys have any suggestions I'd like to hear them.

The Panasonic RPTCM125K sound really good and are really comfortable and are about $12.  Monoprice has really good ones too for about the same, although uncomfortable and don't include a mic.  When my gaming headphones took a dump they filled in admirably.

 

I'd say for general music and phone use the Panasonics are best, they are the ones I would get for a family member.  For gaming the Monoprice wins out.

 

I've had Sony earbuds before, but I'm not sure if those or the same ones.  While they sounded good, I don't think they are were any better than the 2 I mentioned.
