Earlier this week, I came home from work to find that my pc would not turn on. The power supply was fine but I went to buy a new one to test. with the old PSU in, I connected the CMOS jumper pins as a last attempt before I just gave up. For some reason, doing this actually allowed ny pc to boot!

I installed the new PSU and everything was working fine. I played games, shut it down, and come back later and played.more games. Everything was working as it should.

I came home today from Christmas stuff and my pc wouldn't come on once again. I have checked the wires, jumped the cmos , but it will not start. I'm kind of at a loss here. help would be greatly appreciated.

I've only had the motherboard a month.

When I press the power button, nothing.happens. no fans, no nothing, no lights.

Hmmm seems like a PSU problem but it cant be because you changed it... Maybe the cables are damaged? OR did you replace them with the new PSU?
