I want to have a headset that's good for music, communication for around 150 USD

I'm thinking:

Razer Kraken 7.1

Asus Orion Pro

What would you recommend?

"Separate Headphone + Mic" master race beaming in.

For ~$100 headphones you'd probably be told to check out the Audiotechnica ATH-AD700 or V-MODA Crossfade LP. For microphones, you can get a cheapo Zalman clip-on, a AntLion ModMic with the ATH-AD700, or a V-MODA BoomPro with the Crossfade LP.

you're better off with headphones and a mic over just about any headset.

ad700 and HD558's are my typical recommendation.

throw on a modmic or zalman clip on and you'll be good to go.

Will work for electronic components and parts
