is this Build good enough?

Go to solution Solved by mgsstar,

What website are you buying it from? If you are not overclocking, I would get the Asus M5A97 R2.0. If you are planning to overclock, I would get the Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0. I would get 2x4gb CL9 1600Mhz ram if you use this system for gaming. I would change the WD Blue drive to a Seagate Barracuda because it is cheaper and faster.

Hi, guys. EDIT: I'm from Mexico and my currency is MXN, 1$ USD = 13.37 MXN as for today. Also My Budget is 720$, the build below cost 702$

So, for a couple of months, I've been think in build a New PC. I posted a couple of threads here and now i've decide what will my build be.

Here it is mine:

I'm from Mexico, so :1 USD= 13.37 MX (Thank you, Siria!!... That build was 500 MXN cheaper 2 weeks ago... Again, thank you, Siria for making the Dollar increas in 3 days!). 9,389MXN its 702$ USD...

I CAN'T STRETCH MY BUDGET ANY LONGER (Thanks to, Siria, again), So... What do you say, guys, is it okay for gaming on 1080?.
I can't upgrade the Graphic card, 2900MXN= 219 USD and a 7970 It's like 6000 MXN. I do have plans to run a Crossfire later on, buy more RAM and a SSD... But that could take a couple of months, except the RAM i would upgrade it in a few weeks.

Get at least a 2Gb version or a 7870

And a smaller power supply. 430w will be enough if you don't plan to do crossfire

And a cheaper motherboard

AMD Athlon X4 750k; Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2; 8Gb Corsair XMS 1600 Mhz; AMD Hd5670 1Gb DDR3; Bequiet E6-600W; W7 Ultimate x64

Go a 3gb 7950, better value for money and power.

Also go minimum 8gb of RAM.

Coolermaster Scout 2 Case / ASROCK 990FX Extreme3 Motherboard / AMD FX 8350 8 Core CPU (Stock Speed) / Corsair H100i CPU Cooler / Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 WindForce OC 6GB / 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8

I do plan on doing Crossfire with another 7850 later on. A 430w PSU it's just 150MXN (12$) Cheaper

Man, we are talking of a Gap of 2,900MXN(219$) 7850, To a 4,900 (366$) 7950 And I just can't going futher than 720$

I almost shit myself at the prices and then realized the it is in your currency....geeezzzz next time warn a guy.....anyhoo, i don't know your budget but everything looks good but the video card and RAM, go for a HD7950 and add another 4GB stick of RAM. Also make sure that the RAM is compatible with the motherboard you choose before purchasing it.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

If that what your budget will get you, you made good choices, just upgrade ram ASAP..

I run 7850 in crossfire and its been hell getting them going, but latest drivers have helped... so that is a possibility...

Good luck...

I will go 8GB RAM, but that will be the next paycheck after i buy the build... So would be  1 month with only 8 GB. BTW look at the post above you about the 7950
