Hi!

I recieved an SSD today and installed windows 10 on it. I had a win 10 hard drive present as the main drive before the SSD installation. I installed using AHCI (that was always the default) and now after plugging my HDD back in I can only see it in the BIOS and not Windows device manager.

I know the device is working as I only just unplugged it to install the SSD. I just want to be able to use my HDD as an external drive now. My boot option is legacy in the BIOS and has always been that.

Does anyone have any idea how to get windows to recognise my HDD?

Appreciate any help & Merry Christmas!
