New PC not posting

Fans are spinning, lights are on, just a black screen. I am using a DVI to VGA adapter so I can plug my old monitor into to machine. My monitor is plugged into the GPU. please help.

my 390 doesn't support analog signal

could be the same with 380 since they're about the same age

My dad has dual monitors at work, we are gonna order the adapter then use his monitor untill it gets here. Thanks so much for the help!
