Skype is aiming to develop 3D video calls which could eventually allow workers to send "body doubles" to meetings.

So my future boss will get to see my floating head bob in and out of the screen a couple inches during conference calls?

Skype needs to work on not being so f****** s****.

 

I may be showing my age here, but I remember when Skype was good. It was stable, looked good, didn't splash windows all over my entire house, let my friends call me while I show offline.

 

Stop adding crap and sort the program out as it is before Razor sorts their crap out and takes ya gamer base and the encrypted IMers steal the business users.

3D? What about ability to search all convos for stuff?

My parents got sick of the 3D hype in the 50's

 

They yawned when it got hyped again in the 60's

 

I Got sick of 3D hype in the 70's

 

I Got sick of it again in the 80's

 

I Got even more sick of it in the 90's

 

It's still  a useless hype train now.

Great, so now I call look like a total ass by wearing 3D glasses while talking to my loved ones, or in business meetings.
