The mix up 660ti 3gb or 280x 6gb

KraigHunter

So I had an Asus 660ti 3gb (still do), upgraded to a LG 25' ultrwide 2560x1080 and felt frame drop going to this screen. So got a good deal on a Msi r9 280x 6gb, saw improvements in games but have the "Amd Driver has stop working" or really bad artifacting  in Rust, Arma 3, dying light ect. (cs go and h1z1 are fine). I did a stress test (the free one on steam) and saw my CPU maxing out, (a8 6600k blackedtion) have ordered a i5-4690k praying it might fix this problem, if not would it be better to sell the r9 280x with the 660ti  and going a different route, or has my cpu finally seen to much to handle?

your cpu should have fixed the issue

the 280x is a great card for near 1080p ultra gaming

if you could sell both and get something like an r9 390 it woould be better though
