Meh. Not too shabby.

It does really well. Exactly my setup and I have no problems at all.

 

I usually run games on max and get around 60 fps. Of course you cannot count on badly optimized ports. Also turn down AA. You don't need it as much with 1440p opposed to 1080p so that gives you very, very good performance.

If you run 1440p at 25" you practically don't need AA at all. Heck you can even lower graphical detail and not notice anything. Makes it just about as easy to run 1440p as 1080p.

And such monitors can be had for a reasonable price.

I love my U2515H. Beautiful display. And yeah, it is definitely a good resolution to drive with a 290.
