Ram Compatibility

Go to solution Solved by BlueChinchillaEatingDorito,

The faster stick of RAM would just run at the speed of the slower stick which in this case is 1333. It's not optimal but it shouldn't cause any major issues most of the time.

Last year, I bought a 8GB Ram stick from Crucial.

Well the same stick is no longer available and I want to add 8 more GB of ram.

This ram stick has identical specs to the one that is sold out but it runs at 1600 instead of 1333

Since they are both same brand, do you think I could buy the other stick and run both of the sticks at 1333 and not run into any issues?

Thanks for the help!
